We have something to share with you this summer! SUMMER for KIDS!
Whether your family makeup is either single parent, two working parents, or a stay at home mother who could use at least a one week break during the summer, please take a look at what we have to offer and see if we can help you.
Raising children in general presents many challenges all year round; however, during the summer school break, there may be a few more challenges added to the normal list. Specifically, what should I have my children do during their time off from their school classroom?
King of Kings Lutheran School is offering another choice to all of our neighbors. We realize that we are not the only solution to your summer plans but we hope that we can help you this summer. Working with you and your children this summer will also give us a chance to get to know you and you get to know us.
Here is a summary of what our summer for kids program offers:
- Christ based environment to guide all of our activities.
- Reasonably priced alternative for you to care for your children during the summer.
- Safe and fun environment for your children while taking a break from school.
- Summer care which is staffed by our full-time dayschool teachers and some additional helpers.
- A different atmosphere to give your child a change of pace from the normal school year.
- Varied learning activities to keep their minds active and growing [even during summer].
- Flexible scheduling to serve you and your family for one week, several weeks, or all summer long. You can be flexible and work around your family vacations or other week long camps that are planned for your children.
- Special one week invitation for 4th through 8th graders to also enroll in a mountain Bible camp organized by our church along with our sister churches from southern California. (check it out HERE)

When: Summer for Kids 2009 (Mon-Fri) 9AM* - 4:00PM*
(Starting 6/8/2009 through 8/7/2009)
Who: PreK through 8th Grade Children
Cost: $75 for each week (Grades K thru 8th)
(includes all supplies)
$105 for each week (PreK- 3yr/4yr olds)
(Special PreK note:
the PreK staff runs our full curriculum ALL summer!)
Lunch: Bring Your Own
Note #1: Mountain Bible Camp week#7
Optional opportunity to attend a camp
in the San Bernardino Mountains.
